ALUMNI UPDATES:

"I am a cellist who found my life in music thanks to The Louiville Youth Orchestra, conducted then by Mr. Rubin Sher, and Jorge Mester and The Louisville Orchestra. Prior to my participation in Atherton High School Orchestra and the Cello Choir my only exposure to was the Dr Robert Whitney's Making Music Series with The Louisville Orchestra. I credit the enthusiasm of the orchestra at these events with what became my life-long fascination with the cello. The marvelous tutelage of Miss Grace Whitney, my apprenticeship with The Louisville Orchestra under Dr.Mester and subsequent life as a professional musician are all attributable to those first sojourns into the magical world of classical music. I will be forever grateful.  Thank you all."
