Designated gifts directly support the LYO mission.

 

1.  Kroger Community Rewards Program

The Louisville Youth Orchestra is now part of the Kroger Community Rewards Program!  This is a simple way to make your grocery bill turn into dollars for the LYO!  Just follow the instructions below to get started.  Thank you!

  • Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
  • Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
  • If you do not yet have a Kroger Plus card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
  • Click on Sign In/Register
  • If you are not an online customer click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
  • Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
  • You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
  • Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
  • Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
  • Update or confirm your information.
  • Enter Louisville Youth Orchestra or #94026 then select the Louisville Youth Orchestra from list and click on confirm.
  • To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see the LYO’s  name on the right side of your information page.
  • REMEMBER, purchases will not count for the LYO until you register your card(s).
  • Do you use your phone number at the register?  Call 800-576-4377, select option 4 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
  • Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

2 - Amazon Smile

The Louisville Youth Orchestra is now a member of AmazonSmile!  If you purchase items via Amazon please go to AmazonSmile.com and locate the Louisville Youth Orchestra!  A portion of ALL purchases will be donated back to the LYO at no additional cost to you!  This is a great way to help the LYO continue to offer quality musical opportunities to our members and community at large!

 

3 - Family Sponsorship
The average cost for one year of participation in LYO is $1,200. This amount covers costs such as music, rehearsal hall rental, performance production, conductor salaries and scholarships. We pride ourselves on offering LYO membership at a very reasonable $375 - one of the lowest membership fees in the nation. This means we must rely on additional support to keep our organization economically viable. Your tax-deductible contribution goes directly toward providing a total musical experience for our members. A $500 donation receives four season tickets to all LYO concerts, a CD of all performances, and LYO Sponsor Family recognition listed on all concert programs. A $250 donation receives two season tickets to all LYO concerts, a CD of all performances, and LYO Sponsor Family recognition listed on all concert programs. 4 - Scholarship Program
A scholarship fund designed for financially at-risk LYO members. Any donation of $400 pays for one full year of membership for a deserving child. A donation of $600 pays for one full year of membership and one full year of private music lessons. Sponsors have their name (or their company's name) affiliated with the program and receive two free tickets to all concerts, one free CD of all performances, and a prominent listing in all programs for the year.

 

5 - Endowed Chair Program
A program to endow selected chairs within the Symphony Orchestra of the Louisville Youth Orchestra. Patrons have their name (or their organization's name) permanently affiliated with the selected chair and receive free tickets to all concerts, free CDs of all performances, a prominent listing in all programs on a permanent basis, and press releases of the endowment. Cost of sponsorship is $25,000 for the Music Director’s chair, $10,000 for any principal chair, $5,000 for any non-principal chair.
