Serenade Orchestra

The Serenade Orchestra is an entry-level string orchestra with student musicians who are eager to learn diverse repertoire at a wide range of beginning levels. Serenade Orchestra performs grade 2-3 concert music which generally aligns with the first 2 books of the Suzuki method. Serenade Orchestra rehearses for 90 minutes on Sunday afternoons at the St Matthews Pavilion.

Darrick Turner

Darrick Turner began his career with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) in 2014 as the orchestra director at Fairdale High School. He moved to Ramsey Middle School in 2019 as the orchestra director as well and helped build enrollment and quality of performance where students felt engaged and belonged.
