Horizons Brass Ensemble
Horizons Brass is a brass chamber ensemble with student musicians who are eager to learn diverse repertoire at a wide range of beginning and intermediate levels. Horizons Brass rehearses 1.5 hours per week at YPAS or the St Matthews Pavilion. This ensemble provides an excellent step to prepare students for the possibility of joining Repertory or Symphony Orchestra.

Chris Schmidt is currently the conductor for the Louisville Youth Orchestra Horizons Brass Choir and he also is the instructor of low brass at Indiana University Southeast. He has been a low brass instructor in the Louisville KY Metro Area since 2008.
